DO NOT throw breadcrumbs, store it!

Breadcrumbs are perfect to freeze and allocated in small sized portions. Surplus and unused breadcrumbs can either store all in a container in the freezer o r seperate smaller, meal-sized portions in ziplock bags. Write the date on your containers or bags as you freeze them so you can keep track of which batch of breadcrumbs to use first. If you don’t like to freeze and prefer fresh, the same rules apply for breadcrumbs as any other bread. Storing in the fridge will extend freshness from mould for a few days.
